バックグラウンド 我が家は年末にCalala Islandに行きます。 しかしまだチケットは予約しておりません。つい最近検索したところ、復路のチケットが1人分約350ドルでした。特典航空券の空きもありましたがどのように予約しようか悩みました。 この記事では350ドルのチケットを予約する選択肢について詳しく解説していきたいと思います。 我が家のクレジットカード＆ポイント 簡単に今の我が家のマイル＆ポイント、そして持っているクレジットカードの状況を説明します。 6,000 Unitedマイル 2,000 LifeMiles 250k MRポイント URポイントはたくさん URポイントよりもMRポイントを優先的に使いたい Sapphire Reserveは持ってるけどAmex Business Platinumは持っていない 上記の条件が変わると選択肢も結論も変わってきます。この記事では我が家の状況ではどのような選択肢が考えられたかを解説します。 現金でUnited便を購入 1人分約350ドルです。MGA-IAH-DFWという乗り継ぎが1回のチケット なぜ現金で予約する選択肢が出てきたか？というと、カリビアンの特典航空券は諸税が多少かかります。そこにマイルを使うとマイル価値を考えると現金で支払うのと大差なくなるケースがあるからです。さらに現金購入したチケットなら少しですがマイルも貯まります。 Sapphire Reserveを使って予約すればTrip delay insuranceも使えるし、Travelカテゴリ―なのでx3ポイントが貯まります。 予約の最終段階で気づいたのですが、この旅程だとUS発ではないのでキャンセル＆変更に手数料がかかってしまいます。ちなみに往路だったらUS発なのでキャンセル＆変更手数料はかからない（複雑ですよね😅） 22,500 UAマイル + $73.63 現金で購入する旅程と同じチケットをマイルを使うと1人分、22,500 UAマイル + $73.63で予約可能です。 マイルで予約することのメリットはキャンセル＆変更手数料が無料なこと。デメリットはURポイントをUAマイルにトランスファーしないといけない点（MRポイントはUnitedにはトランスファーできない） 下記で説明しますが、1 URポイントは1.0セントでStatement credit、または1.25-1.5セントで使うことができます。ということは22,500UAマイルは最低でも$225分、最大$337.50の価値があると考えることができます。ここに$73.63の諸税なので約$300-400になります。 となると現金で購入するのと大差ないですよね？ Sapphire Reserve使い23,333 URポイント Sapphire Reserveを持っているとChaseのTravel portal経由での予約は1...
